Takuan And Batsu's Daily Demon Diary Chapter 13
Welcome to the Nihongo Lesson feature. We strive to give you useful manga-based Japanese language tips and maybe even a glimpse into the translation process. This week's lesson will once again feature terms from our newest JUMP START series, Takuan & Batsu's Daily Demon Diary. Names are always important in manga, so let's take a look at the meaning behind the names in this series!
BATSU (ばつ) Titler live download.
BATSU can mean a variety of things, but I think the most relevant meaning in the context of this series is 'punishment' or 'penalty.' The story seems to revolve around Batsu punishing demons and even poor Takuan for any misdeeds. It appears that it would be very wise to not get on her bad side.
Demon's Diary is boring. Utterly boring, completely dull, overwhelmingly monotonous, unconditionally mind-numbing, wholly prosaic, purely monochrome, comprehensively tedious, positively unexciting, absolutely uninteresting, unequivocally wearisome, extremely tiresome, downright humdrum, categorically mechanical, deeply run-of-the-mill, outright. Demons Diary Chapter 13 - Spirit Convergence Stage Chapter 13: Spirit Convergence Stage. Liu Ming was sitting cross-legged in the stone house, when he suddenly heard the envoys voice. Everyone come out, the Opening Spirit Ceremony will be held today. I will bring all of you to Spirit Convergence Stage where the ceremony will proceed. Takuan and Batsu is a manga that somehow weaseled its way into Weekly Shounen Jump, and for that I am thankful. It's funny in an almost Jump-like way, but the way it's perverted is definitely not. This is a 'butts and thighs' manga for ecchi content, not 'boobs and panties', and it's one of the MORE perverted in terms of outlandish fetishes to.
TAKUAN (たくあん)
TAKUAN are 'pickled daikon radishes.' TAKUAN are seen as a very basic pickled vegetable and come on the side of many traditional Japanese meals. They are even thought to serve as a digestive aid. This common everyday side dish is the perfect nickname for a main character who just wants to enjoy a normal, boring life.
JIGOKU (じごく)
JIGOKU means 'hell,' and you see this word a lot in Takuan and Batsu. I wonder what kind of JIGOKU Batsu will unleash on Takuan in the next chapter?

The manga began on May 16, and Viz Mediapreviewed the first three chapters in its English digital edition of Weekly Shonen Jump. Itani first published the manga as a one-shot in the magazine last October, and again in March in the Shonen Jump Next!! magazine. The manga is Itani's debut serialized series.
The manga's story begins with carefree high school student named Takuan, who meets Batsu, daughter of Enma, the king of the underworld. His everyday life is upended in a bizarre comedy.
